China revises rules to ease foreign strategic investment in listed firms
The Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission recently announced a list of pilot cities to develop future industry clusters. Zhangjiagang, a county-level city of Suzhou, has been designated as a pilot city for the hydrogen industry.

Suzhou has actively organized various sectors and enterprises to participate in the 24th CIFIT, held from Sept 8 to 11, in Xiamen.
High-end textiles are a key industry in Zhangjiagang. The city has over 3,000 textile companies involved in cotton, wool, knitwear, chemical fibers, dyeing, and more.
The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is the world's largest free trade agreement. Zhangjiagang Customs facilitated RCEP-related imports worth 692 million yuan ($95.87 million) from January to April this year.
The Zhangjiagang government has been encouraging local enterprises to create intellectual properties to support industrial transformation and upgrading.
