A group of 450 hydrogen fuel cell buses, equipped with onboard hydrogen supply systems produced by Jiangsu Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment (GuofuHEE), a company based in Zhangjiagang, have been put into operation in Guangzhou.

This marks the largest deployment of hydrogen-powered buses in China to date and is a major part of Guangzhou's efforts to establish itself as a national hydrogen energy demonstration city and advance the transformation of the transportation sector.
Faced with tight deadlines and large delivery volumes, GuofuHEE collaborated with vehicle manufacturers to overcome difficulties in the supply chain and production processes, ensuring that the systems were produced, tested, and shipped smoothly and efficiently.
Independently developed by GuofuHEE, these hydrogen supply systems are reliable and highly adaptable to environmental conditions. The systems will be fully utilized in the large-scale trial operation of Guangzhou's hydrogen-powered buses, supporting the city's transition toward green transportation.
