To establish a distinctive cultural tourism brand for Zhangjiagang, the Rihao Group began construction of the Jewelry Cultural Center project in Fenghuang town on Nov 27.
The project is valued at 500 million yuan ($70.09 million). As a leading cultural enterprise in Zhangjiagang, Rihao Group has unique strengths in jewelry cultural research and the craftsmanship of intangible cultural heritage.
Partnering with brands like Chow Tai Fook, the new center aims to combine jewelry exhibitions, creative design, cultural exchange, and tourism into a landmark complex, projected to reach 700 million yuan in wholesale and retail sales in its first year.
In recent years, Zhangjiagang has actively expanded new cultural formats, attracting over 140 cultural enterprises above designated size with total revenue reaching 20 billion yuan. The city now welcomes more than 10 million tourists annually, solidifying its role as a key hub for cultural and tourism integration in the Yangtze River Delta region.
