The 15th National Games wrapped up on Nov 21. The 18 athletes from Zhangjiagang, representing Jiangsu province, delivered outstanding performances, securing one gold, two silver, and three bronze medals.
Olympic champion Sheng Lihao secured a gold medal in the highly competitive men's 10m air rifle event, showcasing his strong international standing. In team competitions, He Siyao, a key contributor, guided the Jiangsu U18 women's basketball team to a silver medal. Meanwhile, Tang Jinpeng played a crucial role in helping the Jiangsu men's tennis team win a silver medal.
Most of the participating athletes were young competitors making their debut at the National Games, highlighting Zhangjiagang's success in cultivating and developing sports talent.
