Modern Group celebrated the completion of its 1-billion-yuan ($140.84 million) Modern Energy Equipment Manufacturing (Suzhou) project, focused on energy-efficient and low-carbon equipment, in the Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone.
The new facility produces high-end equipment like air-cooling heat exchangers and waste heat recovery systems, mainly for overseas markets. Once fully operational, it is expected to generate over 1 billion yuan annually.
Modern Group is a major player in the global industrial modular equipment market and partners with top engineering companies like Shell, Bechtel, and Technip. It began operations in the Zhangjiagang Bonded Zone in 2016 and increased its investment last year to develop a new, energy-efficient, low-carbon manufacturing project, underscoring its dedication to sustainable industrial innovation and international market growth.
