The 2025 Tour of Yangtze River Delta (Zhangjiagang Fenghuang Leg) kicked off along the scenic shores of Fenghuang Lake in Zhangjiagang's Fenghuang town on Oct 25. More than 300 cyclists took to the 8.5-kilometer lakeside course, riding through a tapestry of autumn colors that showcased the town's seasonal beauty.
The race featured three categories: Men's Individual Time Trial (Elite), Men's Individual Time Trial (Master), and Women's Individual Time Trial (Elite).
"It was such a joy to ride amid the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms all along the course," said Feng Jin, winner of the women's elite group. "Cycling in such a beautiful setting feels truly special."
Beyond the race, a lively fair added to the festive atmosphere, featuring cultural performances, hands-on intangible heritage activities, traditional Heyang delicacies, and creative tourism products that invited visitors to experience the charm of Fenghuang town beyond the track.
