Han's Laser officially broke ground on the second phase of its East China Regional Headquarters Base project in Zhangjiagang on Sept 28.
With a total investment of 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) and covering around 800 mu (53.33 hectares), the project has been included on Jiangsu province's major project list for four consecutive years. Phase I was partially put into operation in November 2024, while Phase II, spanning about 512 mu, will focus on producing high-end intelligent laser equipment.
For this phase, Han's Laser simultaneously obtained nine essential permits and certificates, including the real estate ownership certificate, land-use planning permit, construction planning permit, and survey qualification certificate. This "construction upon land acquisition" approach enables the company to accelerate work on the project and move swiftly toward full-scale development.
