The 2025 International Challenger-Zhangjiagang recently wrapped up at the China Tennis Academy's Zhangjiagang campus, bringing eight days of world-class competition to a close.
The tournament featured 64 matches and 55 players from more than 10 countries and regions, including China, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
In the men's singles final, Japan's Sho Shimabukuro claimed the title with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over British player Oliver Crawford, closing the event on a high note.

The men's doubles final saw a dramatic face-off between two international pairs. Luca Castelnuovo of Switzerland and Akira Santillan of Australia, who entered the tournament as alternates, battled their way to the championship, defeating the young duo of Petr Bar Biryukov (Russia) and Alexandr Binda (Italy).

As a key stop on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Challenger Tour, the Zhangjiagang event offered a $100,000 prize pool and 75 ATP ranking points to the singles champion. With world-class facilities and top-tier event services, Zhangjiagang is positioning itself as a rising hub for professional tennis in the Yangtze River Delta region.
