The All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce has published the 2025 list of China's Top 500 Private Enterprises, featuring 26 Suzhou-based companies. Zhangjiagang has eight enterprises on the list, the highest among all sectors in Suzhou.
The companies based in Zhangjiagang that made the list include Jiangsu Shagang Group, Everrising Holdings, Jiangsu Guotai International Group, Panhua Group, HuaFang Group, Oriental Energy, Lianfeng Steel (Zhangjiagang), and Aoyang Group.
Several of these companies also appeared on sublists accompanying the main ranking. Shagang, Everrising, Panhua, Lianfeng Steel, HuaFang, and Aoyang were listed among the Top 500 Chinese Private Manufacturing Enterprises. Meanwhile, Jiangsu Guotai International Group and Oriental Energy were acknowledged in the Top 100 Chinese Private Service Enterprises.
