The annual Xiangshan Mountain Plum Blossom Festival will take place from Feb 15 to March 16, with the best viewing period expected between late February and early March, when white and pink blossoms intertwine, creating a picturesque landscape.
The festival will also feature a variety of cultural activities, including opera performances, handicraft workshops, and bustling markets, offering visitors a rich and immersive experience.

Ticket information
In-person: Available at Xiangshan Mountain Scenic Area ticket offices (East Entrance and Plum Garden Entrance).
Online: Purchase via the official WeChat account of Xiangshan Mountain Scenic Area, Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), Meituan, and other platforms.

Entry guidelines
Visitors with physical tickets can enter directly.
Online ticket holders must scan a QR code at the entrance.
Those eligible for free entry can enter with the appropriate credentials.
Transportation guide
By bus:
Take Route 228 (West Line) to Nansha Station (Xiangshan Mountain Scenic Area), then walk to the East Entrance.
By car:
East Entrance: 979 Jianghainan Road, Zhangjiagang
Meiling Entrance: 50 meters north of 242 Village Road, Zhangjiagang
Parking information
Parking is available on both sides of the East Entrance.
For Meiling Entrance visitors, traffic control will be in place on Xiangshan Lingnan Road during the festival. Visitors can use the paid shuttle service from the Martyrs' Cemetery intersection for easier access.

Route 1 (60 minutes)
East Entrance - Diaoyu Pavilion - Wangjiang Road - Shengguotan (mountain summit) - Wanghu Road – Xiangshan Meiling
Ideal for first-time visitors and hiking enthusiasts, this route covers major scenic spots along the way.
Route 2 (30 minutes)
East Entrance - Diaoyu Pavilion - Jiuqu Bridge - Zhujing - Wanghu Road - Xiangshan Meiling
A faster option for visitors entering from the East Gate who want to reach the plum blossom area quickly.

Pickup location: Mingxiang Lake (near the East Entrance)
