The port achieved a total cargo throughput of 227 million metric tons in the first 11 months. Meanwhile, container throughput totaled 1.01 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), a 10.3-percent year-on-year rise. These figures set new benchmarks in foreign trade exports and container operations.

A notable highlight was the Zhangjiagang Win Hanverky Container Terminal, which set a new record by handling approximately 850,000 TEUs as of Dec 24, 2024, an increase of 11.84 percent compared to the previous year.
