The number of national talents in Zhangjiagang has doubled for two consecutive years, with the number of youth-led projects ranking first among across all sectors in Suzhou.
A standout example is Etron Hydrogen Energy Technology (Zhangjiagang) Co, founded by Hong Shaojing, a graduate of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Recognized as a leading talent in Zhangjiagang, Hong's startup has benefitted from rent reductions and various subsidies. During its early-stage financing challenges, the local government also provided active support by organizing roadshows and facilitating funding opportunities.
Looking ahead, Zhangjiagang will continue to prioritize youth development with more solid measures and diverse activities, helping young entrepreneurs build successful careers in the city.
