This year, Zhangjiagang has actively supported enterprises in developing photovoltaic projects, providing strong momentum for the city's green development.
Currently, 282 enterprises in Zhangjiagang have launched distributed photovoltaic projects, with a total capacity of 258 megawatts. The total distributed photovoltaic power generation in the city is expected to reach 950 million kilowatt-hours this year, marking a 23 percent year-on-year increase.

One of the projects is Jiangsu Yonggang Group's rooftop distributed photovoltaic project, the largest of its kind in Zhangjiagang this year, which was successfully launched in October. The project is expected to generate 23 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, reducing the company's carbon dioxide emissions by 15,900 metric tons each year.
