The tower will reach a final height of 350 meters, equivalent to a 125-story building, making it the tallest suspension bridge tower in the world. The bridge is scheduled for completion in 2028.
The bridge is vital to various national strategies, including the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and the Yangtze River Economic Belt. It will optimize the layout of cross-river passages along the Yangtze River, enhance the regional road network, and promote cross-river integration and development.
