On Oct 20, a cargo ship loaded with an ultra-wide quay crane and nine pieces of tank equipment departed Zhangjiagang, a county-level city of Suzhou, for Thailand and Indonesia, both of which are Belt and Road countries.

The shipment, valued at approximately 81.45 million yuan ($11.44 million) and weighing 2,016 metric tons, set a new record for the Zhangjiagang section of the Yangtze River with an above-water width of 93.59 meters.
This year, Zhangjiagang has facilitated 220 shipments of major equipment, including rail-mounted gantry cranes and quay cranes, to Belt and Road countries. These exports, totaling 21.94 billion yuan, continue to inject vitality into the high-quality development of port and shipping enterprises.
