From Oct 15 to Nov 4, the 136th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, is taking place in Guangzhou across three phases. This year, Zhangjiagang, a county-level city of Suzhou, is making a strong showing with 163 companies participating.
Zhangjiagang has set a new record at the fair with 234 booths spanning 30 exhibition areas, including processing machinery, tools, and home products. The first phase, centered on China's advanced manufacturing, featured 88 Zhangjiagang enterprises unveiling new products and technologies, capturing significant global interest.
Jiangsu Newamstar Packaging Machinery has attracted particular attention from international buyers with its high-end, intelligent, and cost-effective solutions for liquid product smart factories.
"We've introduced our latest equipment model to demonstrate our smart factory solutions that integrate production lines and warehousing. We've seen a steady stream of visitors since early morning, and 15 clients have already scheduled visits to our factory for further discussions," said Chen Haitian, director of overseas sales at Newamstar. The company is leveraging this opportunity to expand its presence in the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia, he added.
