Woodblock prints exhibition on Yangtze River opens in Zhangjiagang

From Sept 21 to Nov 10, an exhibition titled "Charm of Jiangsu – View of the Yangtze River from 100 Woodblock Prints" will be held at Zhangjiagang Art Museum, showcasing the cultural and aesthetic essence of the Yangtze River's landscapes in the new era through traditional art forms.

The exhibition features works by over 50 renowned woodblock print artists from across the country, depicting 100 unique scenes along the Yangtze River's Jiangsu section, highlighting the region's natural ecology, historical and cultural traditions, revolutionary legacy, and modern development.

Woodblock printing is a symbol of traditional Jiangsu culture, reflecting the spirit of water culture. In recent years, the Yangtze River Economic Belt has experienced a green transformation in terms of both production and lifestyle. This special exhibition reinterprets the new landscapes along the Yangtze River, offering a fresh perspective on Jiangsu's rich cultural and artistic heritage.
