Once fully operational, the park is set to customize 5,000 vehicles and produce 10,000 sets of key auto parts annually, with a projected annual revenue reaching 3 billion yuan ($421.85 million).
Lorinser also aims to utilize this digital facility as an open platform for industry collaboration, seeking to partner with companies across the supply chain to explore cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices.
Lorinser, a distinguished German brand renowned for its high-end customization and modification services for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, joined Haier Group in 2022. This partnership initiated a strategic collaboration with Haier's automotive subsidiary, CARtech, to establish the facility in Zhangjiagang.
In his address, Han Wei, Party secretary of Zhangjiagang, expressed his hope that Haier Group will continue to leverage its leading position to support Zhangjiagang, drawing more high-quality projects to the city. He emphasized the local government's dedication to creating a first-class business environment.
Liu Chi, a board member of Haier Group, highlighted Zhangjiagang as a dynamic center for innovation and praised Lorinser for its strong innovative capabilities. With over two years of collaboration, Haier Group is committed to further strengthening capabilities, sales channels, and technological research and development to assist Lorinser in delivering personalized products that meet contemporary trends and consumer needs, he added.
