Zhangjiagang has introduced a variety of activities, including night markets, night schools, and nighttime competitions, to enrich the residents' nightlife.

The night markets offer a range of activities, such as free health consultations, lacquer fan-making workshops, and outdoor movies. Additionally, the markets feature stalls selling agricultural products and hosting charity sales, contributing to rural vitalization and social welfare.
Night schools have also been well received by citizens, with nearly 1,000 participants enrolling in courses. Classes on coffee brewing and ukulele playing have proven particularly popular. In Xinkai village, located in Daxin town, yoga instructors have been invited to facilitate classes for the local residents. This initiative is contributing to the development of a growing communal educational environment within the village.

Various nighttime competitions have also been organized. Fenghuang town hosted a competition of its national cultural heritage Heyang folk song, which attracted thousands of spectators. In Leyu town, a pet sports competition was held, where pets navigated various obstacles, adding to the lively atmosphere.
