The 2024 International Challenger Zhangjiagang, part of the ATP Challenger Tour, kicked off on Aug 25.
The men's tennis tournament, which ended on Sept 1, attracted 62 professional players from over 10 countries, including China, Australia, France, and the United States. The competition featured singles and doubles events with a prize of $80,000.

Zhangjiagang is dedicated to promoting the development of local tennis. The city is home to the first division of the Chinese Tennis Academy, a national sports institute that integrates tennis training, competitions, and research and development.
Zhangjiagang has successfully hosted numerous domestic and international tennis events, including the Chinese Tennis Association (CTA) Tour 200. Additionally, the city has organized regional competitions within the Yangtze River Delta, having constructed a comprehensive competition framework that spans from amateur to professional levels.
