Han emphasized that Zhangjiagang, home to over a thousand foreign-invested enterprises, is one of China's most developed counties and has been consistently recognized by Forbes as one of the best cities for business in the country.
He highlighted the city's emphasis on new energy industries, which aligns with Infineum's objectives, and encouraged the company to bring more high-quality projects to Zhangjiagang. Han also assured full support from the local government for Infineum's growth.
Govi expressed gratitude for the government's ongoing support. He noted that Zhangjiagang's advantageous location, comprehensive industrial infrastructure, and excellent business environment offer ideal conditions for Infineum's expansion. Govi pledged to continue collaborating with the city on innovation and talent acquisition to further support Zhangjiagang's high-quality development.
Headquartered in the United Kingdom, Infineum is a global specialty chemicals company. In 2013, the company invested $110 million to establish its first and only wholly-owned factory in China, located in the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone. The factory is currently undergoing technological upgrades to enhance product offerings and explore new energy vehicle products.
