The competition featured six age groups and three events - Taekwondo Dance, Poomsae, and Athletic Competition - with over 1,000 taekwondo enthusiasts from 36 teams vying for honor and glory.
"This is my first time participating in a national taekwondo competition, and I am very excited," said Zhang Tiantian, a young member of the Zhangjiagang Taekwondo Team. With four years dedicated to mastering taekwondo, she has diligently undergone multiple rigorous training sessions in preparation for this competition.
The National Taekwondo Club League is divided into four regions, with this year's Eastern Region tournament being hosted in Zhangjiagang.
"Zhangjiagang has a strong sports atmosphere and is fortified by a seasoned sports event management team," explained Bao Dongdong, president of the Jiangsu Taekwondo Association. He further asserted that the association is poised to host additional major competitions in Zhangjiagang in order to promote the development of this sport in this city.
