According to data released by the Zhangjiagang maritime safety administration, in the first half of 2024, Zhangjiagang Port achieved a cargo throughput of 122.98 million metric tons and handled over 559,000 standard containers, marking year-on-year increases of 1.71 and 23.6 percent, respectively.

The Zhangjiagang maritime safety administration is continuously improving the business environment in Zhangjiagang Port, working to solve bottlenecks for shipping enterprises and increasing the efficiency of port services through the use of innovative measures. In the first half of this year, it supervised 2,842 international vessels and 29.82 million tons of goods safely entering and leaving the port.
