The intelligent equipment headquarters of Huashijie, with a total investment of 1.04 billion yuan ($143.35 million), is expected to generate an annual output value of 1.1 billion yuan after reaching full production capacity.
Han Wei, Party secretary of Zhangjiagang, promised at the ceremony that the local government will provide the best and most convenient services, continuously optimizing the business environment to accelerate progress of the projects.
Zhi Lipeng, chairman of Huashijie, said the company will leverage Zhangjiagang's favorable business environment, superior geographical location, and talent resources to pursue high-quality development, contribute to the green manufacturing industry in the city, and support China's dual-carbon goals.
Huashijie, founded in 2004, is a high-tech enterprise that specializes in treating industrial volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and providing clean air solutions.
Zhangjiagang High-Tech Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone in southeast Zhangjiagang. It has developed into a new growth pole in the city with intelligent equipment, new energy, and the digital economy as its leading industries.
