The topping out ceremony for the first phase of Tenpower's Malaysia factory was held on May 21. As revealed at a press conference that day, the factory is expected to commence production ahead of schedule in the second quarter of 2025.
The Malaysia factory is projected to have an annual production capacity of over 400 million cylindrical lithium batteries. Personnel from Tenpower's operations and marketing departments were recently dispatched to Malaysia to deal with preliminary work.

In 2023, Tenpower's parent company, Jiangsu Azure Corp, received approval from the Malaysian government to invest $280 million in Selangor to establish a lithium battery production base. The company also initiated new energy cooperation with the Malaysian government.
Tenpower specializes in the manufacture of cylindrical battery cells, serving clients in various sectors, including power tools, electric two-wheelers, smart home appliances, and energy storage. Since its establishment, Tenpower has exported over 3 billion battery cells to more than 50 countries.
