The inaugural list of 100 "Yangtze River Delta Cultural and Economic Exemplary Cases" was unveiled recently, with the Yangtze River Culture Festival securing a place among them.
The selection process was a collaborative effort between Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Shanghai. The chosen cases not only boast rich cultural significance but also outstanding economic benefits, catalyzing development across the employment, consumption, and public welfare sectors.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Yangtze River Culture Festival. From 2004 to 2023, the festival has been held every year in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province and is at the forefront of efforts to promote the integration of cultural and tourism resources.
With a focus on Yangtze River culture, the festival has established sub-events such as a drama arts festival and ethnic folk arts festival which encompass a spectrum of activities including seminars, exhibitions, and performances, as well as tourism, cultural and economic promotion events. The festival has seen over 500 million participants online and offline.
