Throughout this year, a multitude of heavyweight equipment has set sail for countries along the Belt and Road from Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, Jiangsu province, accelerating cooperation and partnerships between China and these countries.
For example, 94 Chinese-made engineering vehicles were recently transported to Saudi Arabia aboard the Atlantica Sun. From January to September, the Zhangjiagang maritime bureau facilitated the export of a total of 2,986 engineering vehicles to BRI-related countries such as Indonesia and Pakistan, with a combined value exceeding 700 million yuan ($95.97 million).

In February, a high-pressure reactor vessel weighing over 968 metric tons, manufactured by Zhangjiagang Chemical Machinery (Suzhou) Heavy Equipment Co Ltd, was shipped to Indonesia. In April, four gantry cranes were dispatched to Morowali Port in Indonesia, where they will help enhance the port's automated operation efficiency.
In September, 46,000 tons of pipeline steel produced by Shagang Group was delivered to Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil producer. These products will be used in their offshore oil and gas transportation projects.
In the same month, the cargo vessel Ds Favour, carrying 4,844 tons of railway steel rails, set sail for Indonesia. These rails are intended for railway maintenance and replacement.
