During the week, the Zhangjiagang Culture Center will hold a total of 259 cultural activities with different themes.
A new branch of the center, situated in the Chengnan culture and sports center, opened that same day. The new center offers residents the opportunity to display their own artwork, including calligraphy, paintings, and photos, in the exhibition hall.
A lecture hall in the branch hosts art lectures as well as performances like talk shows, cross talks, and singing.
Other areas include the culture and tourism lobby, which offers Zhangjiagang tourism maps, information services, and a cozy sofa area for people to rest. The traditional culture and art exhibition hall showcases the representative intangible cultural heritage of Zhangjiagang, while the cultural creative space allows visitors to participate in new trendy activities such as handicrafts, Chinese opera, and pop music.
