The Lianhong Digital Economy Industrial Park and Livestreaming Base in the Zhangjiagang High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Suzhou, Jiangsu province, was opened on Dec 2.

The 10,000-square-meter park, which was built by Jiangsu Lianhong Textiles Co and represents a 100-million-yuan ($14.34 million) investment, is one of the biggest livestreaming e-commerce parks in Suzhou. The park, which aims to promote trending products and train live streamers, can provide a wide range of digital marketing services such as brand operation and advertising placement.

Yang Yu, the operations director of the park, said there are currently more than 40 well-furnished livestreaming studios in the park.

The park has already established partnerships with many companies. For example, the collaboration with Dongpeng Beverage Co has resulted in over 10 million yuan in sales for the company.

According to the operations director, it took only a year for the livestreaming park to go from idea to reality. The Zhangjiagang government has offered the company effective and high-quality services as well as favorable policies to accelerate construction on the park.

It was a right decision to set up the park in the Zhangjiagang high-tech zone as the zone boasts a good location, a solid industrial base, and numerous talents, said Yang.

Mei Sinan, deputy director of the high-tech zone's economic services department, said the zone is focused on developing its digital economy and has already attracted many leading companies in the sector, including Shanghai Oudianyun Information Technology Co.
