Zhangjiagang City College, which was established at the Jiangsu Vocational Institute of Architectural Technology in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province in June, recently held its first development forum to explore further cooperation between governments, colleges, and companies.
Twenty local enterprises, including Shagang Group and Spotlight Automotive, offered 789 job positions at a fair during the forum. More than 350 students submitted their resumes.
Six representatives were selected to assist Zhangjiagang human resources and social security authorities in serving students who work or start new business in the city.
Meetings themed on talent supply, integration of education and industries, as well as modern apprenticeship were also held during the forum, said Sheng Yuhong, director of the Zhangjiagang human resources management and service center.
