A launch ceremony for the first digital cultural creative products for the 2022 Yangtze River Culture Festival was held in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, on Sept 10.
During the event, 3,500 blind boxes that consist of five variations of Jiajia, the culture festival's mascot that looks like a finless porpoise, were rolled out. The five variations include the mascot dressed as an archer, a football player, an opera singer, a pingtan performer, and a tour guide.
The creative products are aimed at promoting the Yangtze River Culture Festival to the public, said an official from the Zhangjiagang bureau of culture, sport, radio, television and tourism.
Digital cultural creative products refer to those featuring the application of technologies including 5G, artificial intelligence, big data and blockchain.
