The opening ceremony of the third Zhangjiagang International Hydrogen Professionals Summit took place in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province on July 10.
Zhangjiagang, which has been aiming to drive high-quality development through its clean energy sector over the past few years, is presently home to about 50 hydrogen-related companies that specialize in the production, storage and transportation of hydrogen, as well as the making of hydrogen fuel cells, said Zhu Yan, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhangjiagang Municipal Committee.
The Zhangjiagang government will make more efforts to help related institutions innovate as well as introduce policies to attract and cultivate talents who would promote the growth of its hydrogen energy industry, added Zhu.
The Yangtze River Delta Hydrogen Professionals Development Alliance was launched during the ceremony, and several cooperation agreements on grooming hydrogen talents were signed.
