The north campus of Shazhou High School in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province has been completed and will open to students this autumn.
The school, which spans 120 mu (8 hectares), has 48 classrooms, a laboratory building, a library, a lecture hall, a canteen, dormitories and other facilities. The lab building is equipped with a variety of hardware and software, including digital microscopes, 3D printers, and artificial intelligence systems. Dormitories have air conditioners and offer hot water round the clock.
The sports area includes eight basketball courts, five volleyball courts and a stadium for track and field activities.
To increase the educational resources available in the city, Zhangjiagang is currently renovating its special education school and constructing a number of new schools, including the east campus of Zhangjiagang No 1 Middle School and the Chenghang campus of Zhangjiagang Experimental Primary School.
