Jiangsu Chenjie Renewable Resources Technology Co, which is located in Zhangjiagang, Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, recently activated the electrical equipment in its switch room with the help of the Zhangjiagang branch of State Grid.
The company, the only kitchen waste treatment plant in the county-level city, had recently added a production line to expand capacity and was facing difficulties with accessing electricity.
According to Tao Kai, deputy managing director of the company, a set of electrical equipment costs 1.2 million yuan ($183,053.67) and usually takes about two months to install.
However, the Zhangjiagang branch of State Grid helped the company solve its urgent electricity needs by allowing the equipment to be leased for 230,000 yuan per year, maintenance fees included, as well as ensuring the equipment would be ready for use in less than 30 days.
In light of the production capacity, companies can also adjust the power output and cancel the lease at any time.
Four companies have signed such contracts with the Zhangjiagang branch of State Grid so far this year.
