The health center at the Hubin community in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province has been providing online medical services to residents under quarantine.
As a number of new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported in the city, several communities have been closed off. To provide residents with necessary medical services, the Hubin community health center has created a group chat on WeChat to learn about their needs.
Doctors at the health center have also been providing medical consultation to residents through video calls, said Qian Yan, director of the health center. Online medical services are available 24 hours a day.
In addition, the Hubin community has assigned staff members to ensure the timely delivery of medication to residents, according to Xu Li, a Party official at the community.
