A promotional video showcasing Zhangjiagang, a county level city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, was unveiled on Nov 14, depicting the city as a modern city with innovative advantages, as well as a rich and well-preserved past.
Zhangjiagang is a city full of culture and history. It has preserved the Dongshan village site, an archeological site dating back to the Neolithic period, the Huangsipu site, an archaeological discovery that links the area to its past as a thriving port in the Tang and Song dynasties (618-1279), as well as intangible cultural heritage items like Leigou cloth weaving techniques.

As a modern city, Zhangjiagang continues to innovate. It has introduced a number of major projects, such as the Spotlight Automotive Project jointly invested by BMW Group and Great Wall Motors, the CRRC hydrogen energy project, and the Xinyi Jiangsu industrial base project, which will contribute to the high-quality development of the city.
