Xiaojing Yan,Canadian-based artist and curator 2017-12-12

Xiaojing Yan is one of the most influential members of a new generation of Toronto-based artists. She was co-curator of the First Idiorrhythmic Canadian and Chinese Urban Art Creation Project held in Suzhou in 2016. Yan received her MFA in sculpture from the University of Pennsylvania in the US in 2007. Her work features distinctive culture from different countries. Yan is also a winner of over 30 art grants including Chalmers Arts Fellowships, project grants from the Canadian Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council and Toronto Arts Association, and travel grants from the College Art Association, NYC.

Lyu Jin, curator 2017-12-12

Lyu Jin was graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in 2000. In 2009 he established Jiangsu Meijing Cultural Industry Investment and Development Co Ltd, which mainly focused on creating a service supply chain for cultural tourism. His team has achieved demonstrative effects in many cultural tourism projects across China.

Jim Hake, Canada-based professional sculptor and instructor 2017-12-12

Jim Hake received his MA in sculpture from California State University. His works integrate a variety of materials including wood, metal, plaster, glass, and recycled and found materials. He has mounted six solo exhibitions in Ontario during the past ten years. His works have been included in the collections of many museums.

Hélène Rochette, Canada-based visual artist and instructor 2017-12-12

Hélène Rochette has starred in numerous individual and group exhibitions. Her best-known work is Les fluides, created in 2007. She was awarded the Art Commission Prize from Les Mérites d’Architecture of Quebec City for her sculptural installation All along, installed at the Des Rivières Quebec City Hall.

Kip Jones, experienced public artist, sculptor and instructor in Toronto 2017-12-12

Kip Jones has established a studio that addresses various issues regarding the critical and conceptual discourse around contemporary three-dimensionality. Through his artistic research, he addresses the complexity of space through immersive site-specific installations, public art and object making. His permanent public art projects are installed at Calgary International Airport, Moncton City Hall, Kelowna Public Library, King’s Square, PEI, and Markham Museum.

Lilly Otasevic, Toronto-based visual artist, industrial designer and curator 2017-12-12

Lilly Otasevic's work has appeared in several exhibitions in Canada, USA, Serbia and countries across the Middle East. Her main works consist of sculptural and photo-based works. She has successfully completed several large-scale public sculptural and industrial design projects in Ontario, Canada.

Ma Haiping, Zhangjiagang native artist 2017-12-12

Ma Haiping, an artist from Zhangjiagang, graduated from the Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute. He visited France on a six-month artistic exchange in 2014, and in 2015 was invited to work as an instructor at the French Art Exchange Center in Shanghai.
