Online registration has opened for the 2024 Wuxi Marathon, which will be held on March 24, local media outlets reported.
The event includes a full marathon, a half marathon and a fun run covering the distances of 42.195 kilometers, 21.0975 km and 4 km respectively.

The total number of contestant spots is limited to 33,000, of which 22,000 are allocated for the full marathon, 8,000 for the half marathon and 3,000 for the fun run.
Runners can sign up for the event via the WeChat applet "Race Assistant (参赛助手 in Chinese)" until 5 pm on Jan 6, 2024. After the registration, applicants are required to wait for the draw lots and the results will be announced on Jan 12.

After being chosen, applicants need to pay the entry fee before 5 pm on Jan 17 while those failing to win the draw lots can be put on the waiting list if they pay the fee before 5 pm on Jan 17.
