No need to travel to the United States to experience California State Route 1, Wuxi in Jiangsu province offers its own unique versions.
Shanshuixi Road is often called the Wuxi version of California State Route 1 by many netizens. This lakeside route is well-known for growing oranges, plums, and other local fruits. It's also a favorite spot for enjoying coffee among the mountains and waters, with more cafes than in busy city areas.

The road marks the beginning of the No 108 Corridor of Taihu Lake, which runs through Huanhu Road, Shibawan Road, Huanshandong Road, and Huanshanxi Road, stretching a total of 108 kilometers. This area is a key tourist region around Taihu Lake and covers the entire length of the Taihu lakeshore in Wuxi's Binhu district.

Shanshuidong Road, stretching from Lihu Lake to Taihu Lake, is another beautiful road in the city. On the east side lies the Changguangxi Wetland, while on the west side stands Junzhang Mountain. Along the way, you can enjoy scenic landscapes and visit various unique attractions such as ancient Yaoge village, Junzhang Ancient Path, and the Green Wave Art Museum.
