Three villages from Taicang, a county-level city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province were listed among the second batch of Suzhou's characteristic rural construction experimental units recently announced by the city's department of housing and urban-rural development.
According to the relevant policies, every experimental unit will get subsidies from the central and provincial governments, as well as the city government, to help improve the village's infrastructure construction, public service facilities and environment, and further accelerate the urban-rural integration.
The three villages from Taicang are Qinli village, Sanjiashi village, and Zhuangxi village.
