Jiang Fengbo, the owner, was promoted to deputy manager of a local leather shoes manufacturing enterprise from his beginnings as a grass-roots worker, but he always believed that was not the life he wanted.

So he handed in his notice and opened the leather goods store after investigating good leather craftsmen in Guangzhou and other cities.

"As one of the traditional handicrafts, making leather goods by hand is not always well known," Jiang said. "Besides being made from authentic cowhides, each leather piece I've made contains my passion for the art."

To make a perfect leather product one needs dexterous hands, a sensitive heart and an ability to withstand loneliness.
