Pingqian (Taicang) modern industrial park, situated in Shaxi town, Taicang, Jiangsu province, and covering an area of 468 mu (312,000 square meters), is a facility set to attract investments from foreign high-end manufacturing corporations to research and produce there. It is a great project of much importance to draw businesses to boost Shaxi town’s economy.

On March 15, Kitamura Precision Equipment Co, Ltd, a subsidiary firm based in Shanghai of the famed Japanese Kitamura Manufacturing Co, Ltd, launched a new project in the park after a field investigation in here. The businesses associated with the firm focus on vehicle manufacturing, communications, special-purpose vehicles, and industrial machinery sectors.
