All COVID-19 patients in Binhu discharged from hospital

A resident of Binhu district, Wuxi, that was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has recovered and was discharged from hospital on March 2, meaning all COVID-19 patients in Binhu have now recovered.

As of March 2, the district's center for disease control and prevention had reported seven confirmed COVID-19 cases, all of which have now been discharged from the hospital.

They were all treated at Wuxi No 5 People's Hospital, which had been designated for treating people infected with the novel coronavirus. They will be under medical observation for 14 days after being discharged from the hospital.

Close contacts of the seven patients have also finished their 14-day quarantine period.

The district is currently classified as a low-risk area for infection.
