A delegation from Harvard Medical School visited Wuxi and agreed to cooperate with WuXi AppTec on Dec 12.

Wuxi Mayor Huang Qin welcomed the delegation, led by David Roberts, dean of Harvard Medical School, and attended the signing ceremony between Harvard Medical School, the Binhu district government, and WuXi AppTec.

Harvard Medical School will formulate a detailed talent training plan based on the specific needs of Wuxi and WuXi AppTec, aiming to promote the city's development in medical research, drug research and development, medical services, and innovation in medical and pharmaceutical technology.

Huang was optimistic about cooperation in talent training and technological R&D. He expected the two sides to build the world's top biomedical R&D and innovation center, medical technology innovation center, medical talent education and training base, and international academic exchange base.

Harvard Medical School, established in 1782, is the top medical school in the US. It has 17 top-notch affiliated hospitals and research institutions around the world.
