Registrations for the 2020 Beverly Wuxi Marathon opened on Dec 10 and will close at 5 pm, Dec 17.

The marathon, which will be held on March 22, 2020, has been named the IAAF Silver Label Road Race by the International Association of Athletics Federations‎.

Race organizers have increased the number of entrants to 35,000, with 2,000 places added to the full marathon to reach 22,000, 10,000 places reserved for the half-marathon and 3,000 for the mini-marathon.

Besides professional athletes, sponsors, media crews and members of public benefit organizations, runners who have participated in the marathon five times or more will also be given direct qualifications.

All runners who finish will receive a medal featuring Wuxi cultural elements and sports icons. Runners who finish the full marathon and the half-marathon will also be awarded a T-shirt and a visor cap respectively.

Participants can check the results on Dec 24 on the official website. All selectees can pick up their race pack at Wuxi Taihu International Expo Center from 10 am, March 19 until the start of the race, after they have passed the facial recognition test.
