Popular tourism attractions and creative cultural products in Binhu district were promoted at the 9th China (Wuxi) International Culture and Art Industries Fair from Dec 5 to 9.

The fair featured a variety of exhibitions and shows and displayed culture, art, and tourism attractions from more than 20 countries and regions.

The Binhu exhibition focused on all-for-one tourism and its numerous famous tourist attractions with beautiful natural scenery and distinct cultural characteristics.

One such famous tourist site promoted at the exhibition was Yuantouzhu, a popular scenic spot that lies on the northwestern shore of Taihu Lake and is filled with blooming cherry blossoms during spring.

Visitors to the Lingshan section of the exhibition will hear Zen music (a type of Buddhist music) played by a lady with a guqin, a plucked seven-string Chinese musical instrument. The Lingshan Mountain scenic area in Binhu seeks to promote traditional Chinese culture.

Key chains and sachets featuring paintings of ancient Chinese figures proved popular at the fair. The products were produced by the Wuxi Film and Television Base, where many classic Chinese historical dramas have been shot.

In addition, the Wuxi Sunac Resort, a cultural tourism zone, showcased pictures of its entertainment facilities at the exhibition. The Wuxi National Digital Film Industrial Park, also known as Wuxi Studios, set up a display wall full of movie posters.
