Binhu district holds job fair in Chengdu

To attract more talent to Binhu district, 44 enterprises in the district jointly held a job fair at the Chengdu University of Electronic Science and Technology on Oct 13.

The job fair provided 680 positions, 60 of which had an annual salary exceeding 250,000 yuan ($35,303). More than 500 students from 12 universities throughout Chengdu participated.

Five enterprises affiliated with research institutes and seven listed companies involved in the electronic information industry participated in the fair.

Students with majors related to internet of things, electronic information, and computers were welcome to participate. Jobs with salaries of up to 350,000 yuan were on offer for doctoral graduates.

According to the organizer, the fair received 297 resumes, including 81 from master's students and four from doctoral students. An additional 630 resumes were submitted to an online recruitment platform.

Wu Xionggang, vice director of Binhu, discussed the district's industrial development and talent policies at a promotional conference, demonstrating the local government's full support for high-caliber personnel.

The Chengdu section of the Binhu Entrepreneurship Competition was also held to attract more high-quality projects to Binhu. It included a roadshow of 20 projects related to electronics and integrated circuits.
