Hong Kong-based Sun Wah Group signed an agreement with Wuxi Studios to build a digital cultural industry park on Dec 18.
With a total investment of 1.5 billion yuan ($218 million), the Huallywood International Cultural Industry Park will be co-built by the two sides. It will focus on digital video, outdoor location shooting and intellectual property.
Creative play in the digital film and television works is the soul of the role of art. The industry park is designed to inform an industry chain of digital video and attract more enterprises involved in it to join.
A cultural creative fund of 2 billion yuan will be built up for quality film enterprises and projects, helping to make competitive products.

Li Xiaomin, Party secretary of Wuxi, attended the signing ceremony and said Wuxi city has made its modern service industry the support of its modern industrial system. A three-year action plan has been launched to accelerate the development of eight major service industries.
Sun Wah Group is a multinational company based in Hong Kong that covers the fields of financial investment, high-tech, media culture, education and training, and has been striving to develop the media and culture industry in recent years.
Huallywood, in Binhu district, is already home to 500 film companies and 400 movies and TV dramas.
