Changguang River Wetland Park

Its name means “wide stream” and it is one of nine national, city wetland parks. It is in the northern part of Taihu Lake, in the suburbs of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, connected to Lihu Lake to the north.

It starts at Shitang Bridge at an outlet of Lihu Lake to the north, flows through the towns of Xuelang and Nanquan, then turns westward to Taihu Lake, with a total length of 13 kilometers.

The park has different wetland ecosystems, with a river, pools, ditches, beaches, marsh, and woodlands. Its water quality is improved by the ecology and lake plants grow lushly for an attractive natural environment.
