Design sketch of Coastal City

This is in the core part of Taihu New City, a little south-east of the Guanshan Rd - Lixin Ave junction and near such important projects as the citizens’ center, first financial business block and metro Line 1.

It will hold a shopping center, a SOHO, and a top residential area when completed, with a total floor space of at least 600,000 square meters, at a cost of around 3 billion yuan.

The shopping center covers around 120,000 sq m, the SOHO tower is 180 meters tall and will be a landmark in Taihu New City’s core area, while the residential area will form one of Taihu New City’s best communities.

The urban complex of Wuxi Coastal City is a major demonstration site for Taihu New City and its construction work and development play an important role in the New City’s economic structure and regional development.

It integrates ecology, environmental protection, energy saving, and green building with urban complex development. Its international design is synchronized with international fashion, business distribution, goods displays and functional planning, integrating business design and operation.

Its shopping center covers about 120,000 sq m and will combine multi-functional leisure and service activities, including a famous supermarket, top retail outlets, special catering, fashion, entertainment, modern cinema, and a real ice skating rink, for shopping, food, entertainment, sports, culture, health care and tourism, with some of the world’s top cuisine and more than 300 brand shops of different sizes.
